Cancellations by Attendees:
  • Cancelling on the day of the course will incur 100% cancellation fee

  • Cancelling one or more working days prior to the course will incur a 50% cancellation fee

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by emailing the Professional Services Coordinator on training@educationhorizons.com .

Cancellation by Education Horizons:

Education Horizons reserves the right to cancel a course if there are insufficient numbers to effectively run the session or the facilitator is unwell and no alternate is available.

Education Horizons will advise participants of such cancellations as early as possible and endeavour to offer alternative training dates and/or options.

Education Horizons will not be held liable for any costs incurred by participants due to these changes including any travel expenses such as flights, accommodation or hire vehicles. Participants should contact the Professional Services Coordinator on training@educationhorizons.com prior to booking travel.

Privacy and Security

  • Zoom is currently the primary method for delivering training on Synergetic and SEQTA products.

  • Education Horizons take customer privacy and security very seriously and rely on course participants to do the same.

  • Participants are encouraged to turn on their camera for the session as a courtesy to the consultant and other participants. It’s important however, to note the course may be recorded and available to all participants.

  • Participants must be aware of their environment during the course, as people in the background may appear on the recording, a virtual background is recommended.

  • Participants are not to share their screen if there is real or confidential data on it.

  • Participants are to be careful when sharing information in the chat window, such information may be captured in the recording.

For Synergetic Online Lab Courses Only

Synergetic Online Lab Course Pre-requisite

Participants must test logging into the Synergetic Training Environment at least one day PRIOR to the course. This test MUST be completed on the device the participant will be using and from the location where they will be on the day of the course.

  1. Open Chrome (or browser of choice) and browse to: https://remote.synergetic.edu.au/RDWeb
  2. Sign in with the below credentials: Username: SYNERGETIC\testlab Password: needs-=-j1d6
  3. Double click on the 'Synergetic Lab Desktop' icon to launch
  4. Synergetic desktop should now be on the screen NB: Participants will be given new lab log in credentials by the presenter on the day. If the above link has not worked please try : https://remote.synergetic.edu.au/RDWeb/webclient and follow steps 2 - 4 above.

If participants encounter issues connecting to the Synergetic Training Environment, they MUST consult their IT department PRIOR to the day of the course. The school’s firewalls and network may be blocking access to the environment.

The Synergetic Consultant will NOT be available to answer technical issues.

Education Horizons take no responsibility for technical issues at the client end that result in missed attendance due to not conducting the above test PRIOR to the course.
