Synergetic: Absences and Attendance

Synergetic provides an integrated attendance management solution that allows teachers to mark class rolls directly within the system. This information flows seamlessly into the Attendances and Absences modules, reducing duplicate data entry, improving communication, and enabling Attendance Officers to efficiently monitor, manage, report on, and resolve attendance-related events.

This hands-on lab is designed to equip Attendance Officers with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage student attendance and absence records within Synergetic.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the distinction between Attendances and Absences within Synergetic.
  • Mark class rolls as both a Teacher (using SynWeb) and an Attendance Officer (using the Windows Application).
  • Generate and review lists of unmarked rolls for timely follow-up.
  • Process absence events according to a range of attendance scenarios and school requirements.
  • Preview, generate, and print Attendance and Absence Crystal Reports.

Requirements

To help create an engaging and collaborative learning environment, participants are strongly encouraged to have their camera enabled during the training session. Seeing one another fosters stronger interaction, improves communication, and enhances the overall learning experience.

This course is intended for new staff members, Attendance Officers, and users who are new to the Absences and Attendances module in Synergetic. It is ideal for beginner-level users looking to build a strong foundation in attendance management processes and functionality.
