In this course, participants will develop a strong foundation in Crystal Reports design, gaining the essential skills required to create, customise, and maintain reports within Synergetic.
Through practical exercises and guided instruction, you will learn how to extract, structure, and present data effectively. By the end of the session, you will have the confidence to build new reports and enhance existing ones to support your school’s reporting requirements.

- Synergetic database structure
- Core database concepts
- The three steps of data extraction
- Creating new Crystal Reports
- Using formulas
- Sorting, filtering, grouping, and totalling data
- Joining tables
- Deploying reports into Synergetic
- Modifying existing reports
Target Audience
This course is designed for school staff who are responsible for reporting within Synergetic and want to build or enhance their report-writing capabilities. It is best suited to participants with a technical background and prior experience using Synergetic (typically 6–12 months), who are looking to deepen their understanding of database concepts and reporting tools.
